Introduction

NICO Nanobubble India Co., a frontrunner in Nanobubble Technology, conducted a comprehensive study aimed at assessing the efficacy of NICO Nanobubbles in improving the germination rate of seeds.

Objectives

To compare the growth pattern and germination rate of Jowar seeds under two conditions: treated with NICO Nanobubble (NNB) oxygen-infused water and normal tap water.

Methodology

  • Sowed Jowar seeds in wet tissue in two trays—one tray irrigated with tap water and the other with NNB oxygen-infused water.
  • Placed Jowar seeds in a dark room for two days to germinate.
  • Observed germination daily and sprinkled one tray with NNB oxygen-infused water and the other with normal tap water.
  • After two days, samples were kept in a diffused light room, away from direct sunlight, to ensure optimal growth conditions and continued observation.

Conclusion

The case study conducted by NICO Nanobubble India Co. highlights the considerable potential of NNB oxygen-infused water in augmenting the germination of Jowar seeds. Results show that the average shoot length and root length of the NNB-treated sample are 1.2 times and 1.7 times greater than the sample treated with tap water. Also, a discernibly quicker germination rate was observed for NNB-treated Jowar seeds compared to those treated with normal tap water.

While the disparities were not extensive, the positive outcomes observed in seeds treated with NNB oxygen-infused water underscore its efficacy as a growth enhancer. These results signal a promising avenue for utilizing NNB technology in optimizing Jowar seed germination and subsequent plant development.
